He founded BriX Consulting in 2010 and built the answer. The failure was never technical; the tools kept changing and the outcome did not. His Unicorns’ Ecosystem puts behavioral science and neuroscience where engineering alone had failed, and he named it “Stop Transforming, Start Evolving.”

In 2015 he started on AI and machine learning. Nine years before it became everyone’s headline. In 2024 Alessandro Di Gioia joined him, and together they codified the craft so a machine could execute it. That is nWave, co-created and not received. The Helm is what nWave becomes when a whole organization runs on it.

Alessandro Di Gioia co-founded Alcor Academy, where he coaches engineering teams through the problems that more process cannot fix. He works inside the code and inside the team at the same time, which is rarer than it sounds.

With Marco Consolaro and Pedro Santos he wrote Agile Technical Practices Distilled, a book for the engineers doing the work rather than the frameworks arranged around them. It is the kind of book people keep on the desk, not on the shelf.

He is an international speaker at technical conferences on software engineering excellence. The argument he carries onto those stages is always the same one. Excellence is not a talent some teams are born with; it is learnable, teachable, and measurable, and he has spent his career proving it in rooms full of sceptics.
