Ever wondered what goes on behind the curtains of a tech leadership summit? Well, let me take you on a journey through the exhilarating process of preparing my talk for the upcoming IT Revolution Tech Leadership Summit. Get ready for a wild ride! 🚀

So, picture 🖼️ this: I submitted my proposal for a classic 20-30 minute stage presentation. But guess what? I got selected for the talk, only to find out it had to be condensed into a short video instead. Talk about a curveball! With just one week on the clock, I had to transform a 30-minute spiel into a lightning-fast presentation. Challenge accepted!

First things first, I outlined the key topics and started crafting a script. But I didn’t settle for mediocre. Oh no, I enlisted the help of trusty AI buddies like Gravitywrite, Gemini.AI, and ChatGPT to whip that script into shape. Their magic? Turning my jumbled thoughts into a smooth, coherent flow that fit the time constraints like a glove.

Once the script was locked in, it was time to take it to the next level. I decided to explore play.ht , an AI text-to-speech service, to create a voice clone of myself, ensuring it could flawlessly deliver the talk within the allotted time. Cloning my voice? Now, that’s some next-level tech wizardry! 🧙 Especially considering my dyslexia! 🤐 And hey, if you’re wondering, yes, I even applied a nerdy test-first approach to preparing my conference!

With the script and voice clone ready to roll, I dove into video production mode. Armed with an AI-enhanced editor called CapCut , I sliced, diced, and spliced my way through the footage to create a snappy MVP video. And let me tell you, it was a game-changer! 🎬 A few clicks and boom 🤯, the video was ready 🎞️.

But I didn’t stop there. I tapped into the power of ChatGPT, Microsoft Designer, and DaVinciAI to craft stunning graphics for my slide deck. Each visual was carefully curated to enhance the discussion and captivate the audience.

With the slide deck looking slick, I recorded the clips for the presentation, experimenting with different techniques to keep things engaging. And to kick things off with a bang, I added an intro segment to set the stage for what was to come.

And the real showstopper? Implementing a dual video track layer technique, where I overlaid my face on the slides to give it that personal touch. Now, that’s how you make a statement 💥 … in just two clicks!

After some final tweaks using CapCut’s AI tools, to enhance video and audio quality, the presentation was ready for prime time. With QR codes sprinkled throughout the deck, I made it easy for the audience to connect with me and access additional resources.

In the end, the collaboration with AI proved to be a game-changer, allowing me to deliver a top-notch presentation in record time. But let’s not forget the importance of expertise. Without my background in video editing, the outcome could have been vastly different. As highlighted in Ethan Mollick’s brilliant book, Co-Intelligence: Living and Working with AI , I was in the driver’s seat, steering AI to work alongside me, speeding up processes with more usable tools.
