But in most orgs, hijacked by impostor leadership, OKRs became KPI theater:
🎯 KRs like “Improve velocity by 10%”
🤡 Q1 Objectives like “Establish a baseline” — with no intent to improve it
💫 Objectives that sound like stoner philosophy: “Be the best version of ourselves”
No behavioral change.
No need to new accountability.
No tangible impact.
Just old-school CFO metrics in a Pulcinella mask, dressed up as agility.

“If a Key Result isn’t clearly measurable, it becomes part of a system nobody believes in.”
OKRs failed because no one told the truth:
No fluff. No BS. No impostors.
Just skin in the game.
Until people awaken to work for something greater than just warming a chair for a paycheck…

And Agile? Still dead. 💀
